The course material is free to use, including for teaching. The credits, the graded assignments and the certificate are available only to students enrolled at Aalto University through Sisu. Course materialLecture slides, assignments, code and the textbook preprint are published for anyone to read and reuse. Licence terms are stated in the course repository and in each file where they differ; where no licence is stated, the material may be used for teaching and study with attribution to the author. Follow-along trackRegistering for the follow-along track is free and carries no obligation on either side. It gives access to announcements, assignment releases and the live sessions. It does not grant ECTS credits, a certificate, a grade, graded feedback on submitted work, or any entitlement to the instructor's time. Registration may be withdrawn at any time by asking at the contact address below. AvailabilityLive sessions are scheduled in advance but may be moved or cancelled. Recordings are published when they are ready and stay available, but no uptime is promised for this site, for the registration service or for the video platform, none of which are operated by the university. Live sessionsQuestions are welcome in the chat. Messages that harass other participants or disrupt the session are removed and the sender blocked. Credits and assessmentECTS credits, grading, deadlines, academic integrity and the appeals process for enrolled students are governed by Aalto University's regulations and by the course unit information in Sisu, which take precedence over anything on this page.
